Wind & Kite Surfing

Because of its ideal combination of winds, slower Mistral and faster Burin, the Pag cove is especially popular among wind surfers and kite surfers. Research shows the wind blows 350 days a year on the island of Pag. In summer a number of winds alternate during the day: Around 3 pm in the afternoon Mistral - ideal for surfing, especially for those not keen on fast riding. Later in the afternoon Mistral enhances, thus enabling faster surfing. Burin is a colder wind blowing from the north. Visit the surf base at the Simuni camping.
